Oliver Connew & Philipp Enders

pottering with pencils

February 2020, Montpellier. While pottering in the studio, Oliver discovered the different sounds pencils make when being dropped to the floor. Philipp came with a sharpener and so they sharpened the pencils to match the pentatonic scale. Then they began to play and from their playing came about this little folk tune, dropped into being.
